Ok so here’s the serious bit. Please, please, please take time to make sure you’re familiar with our Ts and Cs. We’ve tried to keep them as short and as straightforward as possible so please take a bit of time out to read through them- they apply to every member of the party travelling.
The TravelCube and You
These terms and conditions contain some exclusions and limitations of liability. If certain conditions are held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms and conditions still apply. Cube Businesses Ltd, herein known under its trading name, The TravelCube, is regulated under English Law.
You must agree to these terms and conditions when booking accommodation with us. By completing a transaction, we understand that you have read fully, and are in full agreement with our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions without prior notice. Your booking however, is governed by the Ts and Cs present at the time of booking.
By booking with The TravelCube you agree that you are able to enter into a legally binding contract for any liability that may be incurred whilst using this site.
Your Contract
Your booking will be confirmed in an email and you will then be sent your voucher to present to the hotel after full payment has been taken.
The contract is subject to www.thetravelcube.com terms and conditions as laid out here, every booking made via this website falls under these same provisions.
We, www.thetravelcube.com provide a reservation system for booking accommodation online. It is our responsibility to pass on all the relevant information to your destination hotel and it then becomes their responsibility to provide you with the accommodation you have booked. It is your responsibility to ensure payment for this accommodation.
The TravelCube shall not accept liability for any loss or damage you may incur or suffer as a result of the incorrect processing of your reservation details by the accommodation provider or the accommodation provided to you by said accommodation provider.
In order for your booking to be confirmed, you must pay the full cost. The most common means of payment is via credit or debit card, and in most cases this will be taken at the time of booking.
We assure you that all the relevant security methods are in place to prevent any type of interception by hackers or others regarding your personal and financial information.
All relevant information and documentation will be sent to you via email. This includes your booking confirmation and your voucher that you must present to the hotel. So it’s really important that you supply the correct email address. Please check that you have done this before finalising your booking. We cannot be held responsible for any failure to do so.
What your accommodation includes
Your accommodation includes all relevant taxes, levies and hotel service charges associated with your booking. If in the EU, it covers all charges relating to VAT. No meals are included in your booking unless stated, and are limited to those highlighted when you confirmed your booking.
What it does not include
Your hotel may offer extras such as cots, spas, parking etc and there may be charges for such things. These are not included in the price of your booking unless expressly stated at time of booking. Nor does it include transfers, excursions or any deposits or security required by the individual hotel or apartment.
Unconfirmed rooms
Occasionally a booking may not be confirmed immediately. If such an instance occurs you will be contacted within 48 hours by a member of our team to confirm the booking. It is only at the point of confirmation that any money will be taken from your card. If for any reason your booking cannot be confirmed no payment will be taken and no binding contract will be formed until such payment is taken.
Cancellation Policy
Our ‘Good Will Guarantee’ enables customers to cancel bookings within 24hrs without incurring a penalty.
If you decide you want to cancel your hotel within 24 hours of booking, you can do this with no charge under our ‘good will guarantee’ policy. You will be entitled to a full refund as long as it is at least 8 days prior to the actualisation of the booking (actualisation refers to the day you are due to arrive at the hotel). If when you make your booking your hotel stay is 7 days or less from actualisation, we are unable to provide a refund under our ‘good will guarantee’.
Cancellations made 8 days before your proposed arrival, and over 24hrs after the booking is made at www.thetravelcube.com, will incur a 25% cancellation fee. The remaining 75% of the balance will be refunded to the payment card you used when making the booking.
If you cancel 7 days or less prior to the actualisation of the booking, or do no show at the accommodation, no refund will be given. This will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Insurance
Don’t forget to organise travel insurance for every member of the party to protect against any possible mishaps whilst you are away. The TravelCube does not supply insurance or endorse any particular insurance providers. We advise you to investigate the best policy to suit your individual needs.
Complaints
If you have a complaint please tell the accommodation reception or management as soon as possible so they can rectify the situation. www.thetravelcube.com cannot be held responsible for any loss or damages caused by the acts, omissions, or negligence of any third party supplier.
We have an extensive policy and complaints procedure for any instance of complaint against The TravelCube in order for us to work out where we have gone wrong. Please email complaints@thetravelcube.com and from there you will be fully briefed on how our complaints procedure works.
